Manali is a beautiful township in the mountains of Himachal Pradesh. From galleries to sanctuaries, from upscale lanes, waterway undertakings to traveling trails, It’s a tranquil place with extraordinary beauty. It has a reputation for backpacking and honeymoon destinations. In fact, most of us have been here multiple times and wondering if it calls for yet another visit.
Settled between the snowcapped Himalayan Mountains, Kullu Manali is the popular tourist destination places around the Beas valley. We started our journey by car at around 8 in the morning, it takes 12 hours Via NH44, It is the best way to experience the shifting cultures from the metros to the smaller towns, village and finally into a pine-laden hill. We reached Manali by 7 pm, We stayed at Shingar Regency near Hadimba temple for our stay. The weather there was extremely cold.
Best Days Started in Manali
We started our day by paying a visit to the famous Hadimba Temple. This unique shrine is dedicated to Hadimba Devi, who was the wife of Bhīma and the mother of Ghatothkach. It is believed that Goddess Hadimba looks after the Manali town and the shrine is the center of worship for the people living in Manali.
The most interesting thing about the temple that kept me admiration was there no idol inside the temple. In front of the entry point, there was a rock, underneath which there were footprints, and followers worship the footprints.
We proceed to market through the temple, we found rabbits, yaks you can click photos with them. There were a couple of photographers who offers instant photographs with you dressed up in traditional clothing of Manali.
Next comes the Rohtang Pass, this place allows you to calm your eyes with the breathtaking sights of the snowcapped mountains where you can find snow throughout the year. The way up hills is a treat to the eyes the beauty of the landscape around will leave you awestruck. The magnificence of the white landscape and sonorous silence is a mesmerizing thing worth experiencing. Rohtang attracts numerous tourists who flock there to witness the wonders of the snow-covered mountains and indulge in snow-related activities like skiing and snow scooter riding.
Places To Visit
The next day we started our journey for Gulaba.Gulaba is a small scenic spot admired for its magical beauty, its a village around 20 km near Manali, named after Raja Gulab Singh of Kashmir, the captivating site of Gulaba is an unmatched village some of the activities one can enjoy here includes skiing, trekking, hiking along with paragliding and snow scooter riding. Furthermore, the unique views from here are enchanting to make you feel peaceful. Tourists who visit bhrigu lake tend to stop by at Gulaba. Surprisingly, the villages the top spot for all travelers, picnickers, naturalists, and those who love adventure. Yet, Gulaba is a perfect attraction for those who want to experience tranquility and escape their hectic Lifestyles.
Another beautiful place is Solang Valley. At the present time, Solang Valley is in the first place for adventure sports. Besides admiring its unmissable picturesque landscapes, tourists especially visit Solang Valley to enjoy various winter sports. To begin with, one can enjoy paragliding and feel like a bird flying across the mountains and touching the sky. Moreover, you can enjoy Quad biking, skiing, camping or can take a Gondola ride. In addition to these activities, do try Zorbing, which is in trend nowadays. Altogether, a place like Solang gives us a lifetime of memories to cherish
Next comes our last destination of the trip “Kothi” this is a quaint village located about 15 km away from Manali in the foothills of Rohtang pass this splendid village offers jaw-dropping views, lush green forests, and sprawling meadows. Especially, the Beas River that flows through a deep and narrow gorge adds in the beauty of the location. For this reason, it has inspired many poets to send a message of peace, love, and amity. The awe-inspiring location of Kothi has been featured in many Bollywood movies.also for the reason, it is a perfect location for painters as a natural landscape. The enormous green trees and wooden houses are exactly the kind of escape the one looks for.
